Did you miss us?
Blue skies, glorious sunshine and temperatures that pushed the mercury to record highs: it was a beautiful summer... except for the lawn.
September is the month when everyone gets back to work with their batteries recharged, and when the grass hopefully turns green again too. Time to catch you up on everything that happened at Laborama over the summer.

Trade fair
After the last edition, we sat down together to take an honest look at what could be improved, and to bring your feedback into the next edition. That already led to two important decisions.
- Laborama360 will now take place every two years, alternating with WoTS (Netherlands). In the year in between, we're planning a number of smaller events and fairs.
- We heard your frustration about Friday as a fair day loud and clear: mark Wednesday 24 and Thursday 25 february 2025 as the new fair days.
For this edition, we're also moving to Ghent. That doesn't mean we're forgetting Wallonia, quite the opposite. More on that on 1 October, at the Kick-off.
Member benefit
Member benefit: early access to premium stands
The premium stands, marked with a star on the floor plan, can be booked first by Laborama members. They get priority over non-members. These are the stands with the most visibility and footfall.

Programme 2027
Lab Automation Day
The schedule for Lab Automation Day turned out to be a bit too tight for many, in combination with WoTS. We've therefore decided not to organise Lab Automation Day separately, but to fold it into the Laborama360 2027 programme.

Day-to-day management is now in the hands of Carmen Van Waeyenberghe, supported by Guy Dhondt.
After six years, Kris Vermoesen has left Laborama. Throughout that time, he put his heart and soul into the federation, and we want to thank him warmly for that.
Day-to-day management is now in the hands of Carmen Van Waeyenberghe, supported by Guy Dhondt. You can reach Carmen at carmen@laborama.be or on 0470 57 51 24 (Kris's former number).
The office in Anderlecht has barely been used recently and was therefore an unnecessary cost. We've decided to close it. This will also lead to a change of registered office soon. We'll keep you posted.
A warm request
A warm request: send us your correct contact details
We're in the process of implementing new software, and in doing so we've noticed that our database still contains a lot of outdated or incorrect information.
You'd help us enormously by sending an email to carmen@laborama.be with an overview of all contact persons within your company: name, role, email address and mobile number. Please be sure to include the contacts for accounting, fair communications, practical fair arrangements, management and HR.
Thanks in advance!
